If you're a reader, and you're looking for recommendations on what to read next, or you like to read an honest book review before you pick up a copy of your own, you're in the right place.
Readers should visit my blog on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and sometimes even Thursdays (with the very occasional Friday thrown in). Those are the days when I post book reviews.
Each such post is categorized as a Book Review so that you'll be able to search accordingly.

I review books in nearly any genre and style, from fiction to nonfiction to poetry and from romance to science fiction to historical to adventure to erotica to New Adult (NA) and Young Adult (YA) to fantasy to crime, thriller, and suspense.
Many of the books are self-published by authors with whom I work directly to provide reviews. Some of the books are those I picked up on my own, out of personal interest, and read and reviewed ... not for a particular author. For a time, I reviewed books for Entangled Publishing, and I also work with BookCrash and Blogging for Books, review programs that provide complimentary copies in exchange for honest reviews.
And that is the disclaimer you'll find at the bottom of each requested review I complete and publish:
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this work from the ______________ (publisher/author/review program) in exchange for an honest, though not necessarily positive, review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
That way, you know that no one is "buying" or "paying for" my opinions. If I rate a book well, it's because I enjoyed the book and because it was well-written and entertaining or insightful. If I rate a book as mediocre or as one I wouldn't personally recommend, it has nothing to do with what the publisher or author had in mind.
You'll always read my honest perspective, regardless of genre.

When I finish a review, I typically also copy-and-paste that review to Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble's website, Twitter, Library Thing, and Goodreads, to give the author or publisher as much publicity as possible within my sphere of the Internet.
I'm always happy to connect with readers and authors on my Goodreads account, and you can find me over there and recommend books to me. Also, feel free to comment on reviews here on my blog, whether you agree or disagree with my assessment.
